Sandra Tenorio Obituary, Death – Because of the tragic death of one of our most brilliant leaders, Sandra Tenorio, our Tejano Democrats have been thrown in a shadow, and their brilliance has been significantly muted as a result. This placed a shadow and a pall over our Tejano Democrats. Sandra was a devout supporter of the Democratic Party, and she also counted many of us as her personal friends.

She will be missed. We are going to miss having her here with us. She was one of the first women to break the glass ceiling and take the lead in the fight for the right of Hispanics to have equity and diversity in the workplace. She was one of the first women to shatter the glass ceiling. She was one of the first women to break through the gender barrier and achieve her goal.

We are entirely, totally, and utterly grieved over the loss of her leadership qualities, and the only thing we can do is hope that her legacy will be honored. At this time, she and every member of her family is in our thoughts and prayers. We are keeping them all in our thoughts and prayers. The funeral preparations are currently getting their finishing touches, and the particulars will be communicated as soon as they can be verified in a reliable manner.
