Scott Harrington Obituary, Death – Our club Mypolonga Netball League Club- Tigers has experienced an absolute tragedy this week with the tragic and unexpected death of Scott Harrington, a remarkable man.
Demi and Zoe Harrington, two of our exceptional young netball players, and little Jed, a Tigers football player, are both fathered by Scott.

Since his family joined our club in 2015, he has continued to support us, and his uplifting presence is always felt throughout the courts as he joyfully watches his talented young daughters compete. Scott has supported both the football and netball clubs, serving in a variety of capacities on the football committee and frequently offering his assistance with netball-related events and chores as well.

Scott has always been a fervent Tiger supporter and was once a highly talented and competitive sportsperson himself. He has contributed financially to both clubs and has volunteered whenever needed to work behind the bar or around the grounds, always going above and above for his children. In addition, he was well-known for his joking with coaches, committee members, and other netball volunteers about a side “needing to do better” even after a 20-goal victory.

We will miss Scott’s signature mannerisms, which included constantly attempting to make people smile while gently letting them know he had a fierce competitive drive. And you can tell that he instilled this in his children since all it takes is to watch the two girls play netball to see the wonderful impact their father has had on them. They play with vigor and determination.
