Stacey Gatson Obituary, Death – The late Mrs. Moira Barrett’s funeral preparations have been entrusted to the care of Birrell Corrance Funeral Directors, Baillieston, who have been asked to make the news on behalf of the family. Mrs. Barrett tragically passed away at Glasgow Royal Infirmary on Thursday, July 27, 2023. The reception and vigil prayers will take place at St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church in Bailieston on Thursday, August 10 at 6:30 p.m.

We would like to take this opportunity to formally invite all of our family and friends to the funeral mass that will be held at St. Bridget’s RC Church in Baillieston on Friday, August 11th, 2023 at 9:30 am. The funeral procession will then move on to Daldowie Crematorium at 10:45 am. They were the first in their field to experience enormous success, shattering barriers in the process and inspiring those around them.

Their unwavering commitment to helping others was the only thing that even came close to matching their passion for their vocation. Their charity efforts made a significant difference in the lives of numerous individuals, as well as the communities where they lived and worked, and others who were less fortunate. In addition to their outstanding professional achievements, this person had a remarkable capacity for empathy and a kind nature.

Their love of gardening and being outside clearly demonstrated their passion for the natural world. They created an environment that reflected their inner beauty through the beauty they created around them. They found solace in the embrace of nature, and their beloved gardens evolved into a testament to their great admiration for the simple wonders of daily existence. We shall carry the memories of their sparkling laughter, wise counsel, and boundless generosity with us as we say our final goodbyes. Even though they are not physically there anymore, their influence will live on in the people they touched.
