Stephen Benefield Obituary, Pastor At The United Methodist Church Has Died – Suicide

Stephen Benefield Obituary, Death – Please say some prayers for the people who are suffering through this challenging time on behalf of Pastor Stephen Benefield’s family and friends. At the time, he was serving in Alabama as a member of the military.

I didn’t find out that he had committed suicide by hanging himself until just a few days ago. At one point in time, he was a member of a smaller group that I was also a member of, and at other moments in time, we took part in social activities together. Currently, he is not a member of either group.

The fact that we were never very close to one another and that our relationship has grown increasingly distant over the course of so many years does not alter the fact that this is a terrible thing that has happened. I’m going to show you a few images that were taken by some of our other close friends on a hike that we went on in 2014.

This excursion took place in 2014. He accompanied them on their journey in addition to his son. Stephen Benefield was the moniker bestowed to him by people who felt responsible for his well-being. He leaves behind not only a family but also a church, and now it is up to others to pick up the pieces of their own lives that have been broken.
