Steven Mauck Obituary, Death – Stephen Joseph “Steve” Mauck, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He resided at 186 Owen Lane in Luray. He was the son of Joseph Samuel Mauck and Charlotte Virginia Foltz Estes, both of whom have since passed away. He was born in Luray on October 21, 1947.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Joseph Mauck and his wife Christina Mauck of Stanley; his daughter, Wendy Rothgeb and her husband Roger Rothgeb of Luray; his stepbrother, Roger Estes of Fairfax; two granddaughters, Ashlee and Danielle Mauck, both of Stanley; and two grandsons, Cordel and Garret Rothgeb, both of Luray. His stepbrother, Roger Estes, also survives. His stepfather, Henry Hayward Estes Jr., who passed away before him, was his predecessor in death.
