Susan Curtis Obituary, Death – Susan Curtis was a beloved member of the Friendship Community, and we are utterly and completely devastated to inform you of her demise.  Susan became a member of the Friendship Community family in 2011, and she has resided in several of our residential houses throughout the course of the years, most recently at our home in New Holland, which she has called home since 2013.

She was a huge fan of the performing arts, especially musical theater, and you might frequently find her listening to the Annie soundtrack. Susan’s big heart made it easy for her to connect with people in every community she visited. Susan, you have brought a great deal of joy to a lot of people at Friendship Community, and we are going to treasure the time that we spent together and take comfort in the fact that you are now in the care of our Lord. I pray that when God takes you home to the eternal kingdom, he surrounds you in the loving embrace of his arms.

As we mourn the death of such a beautiful and gentle spirit, we ask that you keep the members of Susan’s family as well as the individuals and team members that worked from her house in your thoughts and prayers.

During the course of their life, the individual who has passed away displayed an extraordinary dedication to assisting others. They actively participated in a variety of charity activities, devoting their time and energy to make a good difference in the lives of those who did not have as much opportunity as they did. Their lack of selfish motivation motivated a great number of others to lend a helping hand and spread acts of kindness across the community.
