Tajh Boyd Death, Liberty University Freshman OL Has Passed Away

Tajh Boyd Obituary, Death – Tajh Boyd, a rookie offensive lineman for Liberty, passed away on Sunday, the team reported. Boyd’s death’s specifics have not been made public. He had just turned 19. Tajh Boyd recently joined the Liberty Football family in January, and his impact on the program will be felt for years to come. “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the loss of one of our student-athletes, Tajh Boyd,” head coach Jamey Chadwell and athletic director Ian McCaw said in a joint statement.

Liberty was welcomed to Conference USA this summer, and Conference USA also issued a statement. We were shocked to discover that Liberty football player Tajh Boyd had passed away, the message said. “During this trying time, our thoughts are with the Boyd family and the Flames community. During his time at Smith, Boyd guided his high school to back-to-back state titles. He had three stars.
