Carol Kramer, Elizabeth (the late Gordon) Brothen, and the late Jerome Slowinski (Diane) all considered him a dear brother-in-law. To the late Rose and Theodore Kramer in Chicago, Illinois, Ted was born on May 22, 1936. He earned his high school diploma from Weber High School in 1954 and his college degree from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, both of which he attended on a basketball scholarship. Ted and Eileen first met “the gang” during weekend activities at Loras College, and they have remained close and devoted friends ever since. A significant portion of Ted and Eileen’s lives revolved on the church and their fellow parishioners because Ted was an ardent member of the former Our Lady of Loretto Church in Hometown, Illinois. Ted was a devoted reader and worked for the City of Hometown’s library board for more than 42 years. Ted, a lifelong supporter of the White Sox who spent his formative years within a few blocks from the old Comiskey Park, was overjoyed when his team won the World Series.
