Terry Martin, age 69, of Princeton, passed away on April 17, 2023, following a year-long struggle with cancer. He had been a resident at Liberty Village of Princeton for a short while before his passing. At a later time, there will be a private family service at the cemetery that will take place at Elm Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton, New Jersey, has been entrusted with the responsibility of making arrangements for the cremation ceremonies to be carried out. Terry Martin’s parents, Bernard and Benadine (Thompson) Martin, welcomed him into the world on August 8, 1953 in Princeton. In 1972, he received his diploma from Wyanet High School, where he was a standout on the football team. A couple of years after graduating, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was happy to serve his country while stationed in Germany, South Korea, and the Philippines, where he worked on the hydraulic systems of fighter jets. He attended the St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton, where he was a member. Following his employment at General Business Forms in Princeton for a number of years, he went on to work alongside his father and brother on the family farm, which is known as Martin Angus Farms. Terry looked forward to the Spring every year so that he could tend to the newborn calves. His parents were able to continue living in their own house because of his caring and selfless dedication to them, which was deeply appreciated by his family. Fishing, watching the Chicago Bears, and professional hockey games were some of his favorite things to do, but he also liked to spend time outdoors. Terry’s siblings include his sister Linda Grimmer, who lives in Kansas City, and his brothers Jim Martin and Dr. Jeff (Leanne) Martin, who all live in Princeton. Terry passed away. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. His parents passed away before he did in this life.
