Todd Gwynn Obituary, Death – I must inform you all that Todd Gwynn, a deputy sheriff for Carroll County, departed suddenly as a result of unforeseeable events. Deputy Guynn was at his house on the evening of Friday, August 4, when he had a medical problem. The paramedics attempted to revive Deputy Gwynn, but they were unsuccessful.

Deputy Gwynn joined the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office in December 2022 after graduating from the New River Criminal Justice Academy in June 2023 with a certification in law enforcement. In June 2023, he just recently received his diploma from the academy. It has been an honor to collaborate with Deputy Gwynn when he was employed by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Please remember his wife, children, parents, siblings, and friends in your prayers as they deal with the death of their loved one.

Along with his philanthropic activities, he was a pillar of strength for those who were close to him, supporting them through their darkest hours and never wavering in his devotion to them. In the midst of the storm, his wisdom and guidance served as a beacon for them, illuminating the way through life’s challenges. He had a unique ability to listen to people without making judgments, and his counsel was always based on his understanding and empathy for them.

He was eager to learn new things throughout his life and was both academically curious and open to exploring different cultures. His love for study inspired many in his immediate vicinity to go on their own individual intellectual journeys. His participation in conversations was consistently enlightening, and it sparked contemplative discussions that made a lasting impression on everyone who had the good fortune to speak with him.
