Victoria Dai Obituary,  Death – On Thursday morning, a young girl of 12 years old was riding her bicycle in Southlake when she was struck and killed by a pickup vehicle. The accident took place in Southlake. The accident took place in the wee hours of the morning. After receiving reports of a serious collision at 9:30 in the morning, officers from the Southlake Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of Davis Boulevard to investigate the incident.

Davis Boulevard was the location where the accident took place. The child’s condition was life-threatening when she was taken from the scene of the accident to the Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine by emergency responders. It wasn’t until 10:15 in the morning that her passing was officially confirmed as having occurred. According to statements made by eyewitnesses.

The pickup truck was travelling northbound on Davis Boulevard when it collided with the girl who was riding her bike on the sidewalk parallel to the street moving in the same direction as the truck.  The collision occurred as the girl was traveling in the same direction as the truck. It appears that the driver of the truck was making a turn into the shopping area that can be found near the intersection of Davis Avenue and Southlake Boulevard when the incident between the two cars occurred.

The young woman was identified as Victoria Dai, and the documents that were obtained from the office of the Tarrant County Medical Examiner indicated that she had been a resident of the neighborhood that was located behind the retail mall in Tarrant County. Nobody has been able to tell the police who was driving the pickup truck as they haven’t been able to figure out who was driving it. Because the investigation is not yet finished, it is not clear whether or not the driver will be charged with anything at this point in time.
