Volodymyr “Wally” Tkachuk Obituary, Death – I was saddened to learn about the passing of Volodymyr “Wally” Tkachuk, and it has left me with a heavy heart. After emigrating from Ukraine to South Australia in January 1930, Wally immediately immersed himself in the community’s culture and established himself as an important member of the society.

He was a pillar of support for the Ukrainian community in South Australia for a considerable amount of his life and dedicated a significant portion of his life to this cause. In March of this year, Wally was presented with the Governor’s Multicultural Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in recognition of everything he has done throughout his life. This award was awarded to Wally in appreciation of all of his accomplishments.

Wally was the recipient of this honor due to the fact that he was the recipient of the Governor’s Multicultural honor in 2022. Even though we are aware that death is a natural and unavoidable component of life, we are never quite ready to say goodbye to a friend or family member permanently. No one ever wants to know the anguish of losing a loved one since the accompanying emotion has the ability to drive people apart and is difficult for everyone. No one ever wants to go through that. When one expresses sympathy or condolences to another person who has recently suffered the loss of a loved one, the goal is to convey as much compassion, concern, and connection to that individual as is humanly feasible. It may be difficult to describe how you are genuinely feeling when faced with circumstances that are so laden with emotion.
